Panning Shot

Panning Shots are the movement of the camera in which they turn from one side to the other usually scanning a scene or following an object in the scene as it moves across the scene. In this short clip above the panning shot is slowly scanning the scenery surrounding the camera from right to left. Another type of pan shot is a Rolling Shot which is where the camera moves diagonally which gives a sense of the camera swaying which can be used when  creating the effect of an of someone unstable possibly drunk in a scene.
