Sherlock Holmes Personal Review

The film Sherlock Holmes, I found was a very interesting and fun movie as of the story line and the setting. The things in the story line I enjoyed was that there are very mysterious characters such as Blackwood in which you want to find out how he manages to do all of the black magic such as making himself to appear to be dead. Also having the film set in the 18th century makes it an old time version of a modern police detective movie which makes it fun and different as of the time it is set in. In the movie there are many comical parts which are mainly given by Holmes and Watson and this makes it a bit of fun for everyone.
The film I believe appeals to most age groups except for young teenagers or children as I believe they will not understand the movie much and appreciate the movie so some kids find the film a bit boring as they can find it difficult to work out what the detectives are finding out.
The director Guy Ritchie has also directed films such as "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", "Snatch", "RocknRolla" and many more great films. Most of Ritchie's films tend to be set in Britain and are usually action films which contain fight or shootout scenes.
I beileve the ending of Sherlock Holmes is clearly set out for a sequel as Sherlock recieves a message of a possible threat from Professor Moriarty and the films then finishes with the words from Sherlock "case re-open" which gives us an idea for a new beginning of a next film.
